Privacy policy

This policy covers the website www.axeptdesign.com. The apps have their own privacy policies, which you will find on each app's website.

1. Controller

No data protection officer has been appointed, as we are not legally required to do so.

2. This website

This website is purely informational. It sets no cookies and embeds no web fonts, maps or videos from third parties. The only thing it loads from another server is the counting script for reach measurement, described at the end of this section. There is no cookie banner because no cookies are set.

If you choose between light and dark at the top right, your browser remembers that choice in its local storage (localStorage) so the site looks the same on your next visit. This setting never leaves your device, and you can delete it at any time in your browser settings. Legal basis: § 25(2) no. 2 TDDDG; storing it is strictly necessary for the appearance you explicitly chose.

When you open the site, our hosting provider processes technically necessary server log data (IP address, time, requested file, status code, amount of data, referrer and browser identifier). This data is needed to deliver and secure the site and is not combined with other data. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.

The site is hosted by Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend Street, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA (service “Cloudflare Pages”). A data processing agreement under Art. 28 GDPR is in place; transfers to the USA are covered by the EU Standard Contractual Clauses under Art. 46(2)(c) GDPR.

Reach measurement with Cloudflare Web Analytics

To see how often this website is visited, we use Cloudflare Web Analytics from Cloudflare, Inc., named above. Each page loads a script from static.cloudflareinsights.com that reports the page view to Cloudflare. It sets no cookies, uses no fingerprinting and builds no user profiles. We only see aggregated figures such as page views, country, browser and referring page. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR; our legitimate interest is anonymous statistics on the reach of this website. Transfers to the USA are additionally based on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, under which Cloudflare is certified.

3. Links to other websites

The cards lead to the websites of the individual apps, and the studio link leads to axeptdesign.de. Your browser only contacts the other website once you follow one of these links; that website's own privacy policy applies there.

4. Contact by email

If you write to us, we process your message and email address to answer your request, and delete the correspondence once it is no longer needed and no retention duties apply. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) or (f) GDPR.

5. Your rights

You have the right of access (Art. 15), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and to object (Art. 21 GDPR). In practice we hold no data about you unless you have written to us. For a request, write to info@axeptdesign.com.

You may also lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority (Art. 77 GDPR), for example in your place of residence or with the Berlin Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information.
